Cybill Sheppard Glam Gal

The best part about blogging is we get to meet a lot of wonderful glam gals, looking fab after 40, from all over the country and on occasion, a CELEBRITY Glam Gal gal too.

Here we are with Cybill Sheppard at the MORE magazine Reinvention convention last week where she was a guest panelist.

She looked fabulous at 58 in her Kelly green jacket and black pants...a natural beauty with a great sense of humour too.

Just when Jane Fonda said she would never get cosmetic surgery again, she sneaked in and did it. ..

I guess it's that new boyfriend she has! You don't see a lot of difference at first, until you look down at her neck. She looks pretty good! You know my stand on all of this; it's such a personal thing.

I'd love to hear your views and experiences, pro and con. What do you think of Jane's decision to have more cosmetic surgery at 72? Is there anything wrong with wanting to be a "Glamorous Grandma", as Jane calls it?

Cost Cutting Ideas To Make Your Hair Color Last Longer!

Those pesky gray hairs! What can you do to make your color last up to two weeks longer? Here are some great products.

1. Wash hair two times, the week before going in for color with clarifying shampoo (such as Pureology purifying shampoo) which will strip out the hair products that have built up in your hair like conditioner, gels, hairspray, etc. With these products gone the hair follicles will hold the new color amazingly better.

2. At the salon after your hair is washed and conditioned and before drying, give them a vial of Goldwell Colorglow Color finish to apply to your hair. Do not wash out.

You can buy these products at the beauty supply store for a fraction of what you would pay the salon. Example: the Colorglow is $5 at the beauty supply and it would cost close to $20 for the same treatment in most salons.
